Yellow-vented Bulbul, Pycnonotus goiavier, is a passerine bird of the bulbul family that breeds across southeastern Asia, from Indochina through the Philippines, with its range also reaching Borneo and Sumbawa in the Lesser Sundas. It is closely associated with open country and human-altered places, and it is not a bird of dense forest. It is especially familiar in cultivated land. The species is also known for moving around regularly rather than staying in one place. It nests in gardens, using sites from low shrubs to tall trees.
