Zebra Dove Geopelia striata is a pigeon in the family Columbidae and the order Columbiformes. It breeds in the Oriental Region on the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Java, and it has been widely introduced elsewhere. It was described by Linnaeus in 1766.
