Itinerary
Day 1
La Paz flight and Altiplano lagoons
Fly to Uyuni, then visit Villa Alota bofedales and the Turquiri and Pastos Grandes lagoons before overnighting near Laguna Hedionda.
Day 2
Eduardo Avaroa lagoons and Siloli Desert
Explore Hedionda, Cachi and Kara lagoons and the Siloli Desert, ending at Laguna Colorada.
Day 3
Laguna Colorada birding
Spend the day around the red lagoon and stop at further lagoons, bogs and canyons on the return toward Uyuni.
Day 4
Salar de Uyuni
Cross the salt flats to the western sector for landscape interpretation, seasonal birding and a sunset experience.
Day 5
Return to La Paz
Fly back to La Paz, with an optional additional birding outing if the schedule and group pace permit.
