For visitors who want to dedicate a longer part of their trip to birdwatching, Stur.ba offers a five-day program in Livanjsko field. This is the longest of the agency’s four published birdwatching formats and is available through individual or group arrangements.

The birding interest lies in the way water and open land meet across the karst basin. Seasonally flooded areas, grasslands and river corridors form the wider landscape around Livno. Ždralovac is an important wetland in the northwestern field, and the southern setting includes Buško Lake. The basin’s surrounding mountains give context to these open habitats.

Five days provide a longer framework for a visit to the region, with the detailed program arranged for the participants. Wetland and grassland birds are the focus rather than a guaranteed species total. The area supports Great Egret, Eurasian Bittern, Montagu’s Harrier and Corncrake, among other birds. Migration changes the character of the field, including spring concentrations and the autumn movement of cranes.

The five-day price is BAM1,600 per person, with EUR800 also quoted. It is a distinct birding program for visitors planning a longer visit to the Livno region. The daily route and practical arrangements are agreed with Stur.ba for the chosen visit.

The package includes all meals and accommodation during the program. Airfare is excluded.
