Private 21-Day Cameroon Birding Expedition
A private three-week Cameroon birding journey with extra time on Mount Cameroon, in Campo Ma'an rainforest and at Ngaoundaba Ranch.
About this tour
This private 21-day expedition follows a broad Cameroon birding circuit from the Atlantic coast to montane forest, lowland rainforest and northern savannah woodland. Extra field days on Mount Cameroon, around the Sanaga River, inside Campo Ma'an and at Ngaoundaba Ranch allow a slower search across changing habitats.
The route begins in Douala and Limbe, continues through Edea and Kribi, then spends several nights camping inside Campo Ma'an National Park. Overnight rail travel links Yaounde with Ngaoundere for the Ngaoundaba section. The final stage returns south for Mefou and canoe birding on the Nyong River at Ebogo.
The quoted format is for one participant and includes private road transport, accommodation, full board, park access, trains, an English-speaking guide and local support. Field plans remain flexible around weather, access and bird activity.
