Itinerary
Day 1
Coca transfer and Limoncocha at sunset
Travel roughly two hours by road from Coca into the Yasuní area and settle into a private room at Toucan Cabins before lunch. The afternoon continues by canoe on Limoncocha Lagoon, where returning birds and the surrounding forest are most active toward sunset. After dark, use torchlight to look for the red eye-shine of caimans while the local guide interprets the lagoon’s wildlife and Kichwa significance.
Day 2
Yasuní forest, Jivino River and Kichwa culture
Begin with breakfast and a guided forest walk in Yasuní National Park, watching for toucans, other birds and howler monkeys. Later, take an approximately two-hour tubing trip on the Jivino River. The evening introduces Kichwa dance and a body-painting demonstration.
Day 3
Farewell transfer to Coca Airport
Take in a final sunrise in the Amazon, then travel back to Coca Airport. The return closes the community-hosted stay and the three-day programme.
