Arctic Exposure

Bird and wildlife photography workshops in Iceland

Arctic Exposure

Arctic Exposure is an Icelandic photography-tour company led by owner and head guide Skarphedinn Thrainsson, known as Skarpi. Its wildlife programs combine field photography instruction with local travel logistics and carefully timed access to natural settings. On Grimsey Island, the company leads a small-group summer workshop focused on Atlantic Puffins and other nesting seabirds, with practical guidance on camera settings, birds in flight and working in long Arctic daylight. The route begins and ends in Reykjavik and includes travel through North Iceland, ferry crossings, accommodation and local transport.
