New Caledonia’s isolation gives this customizable expedition a clear endemic-bird focus. The route concept combines Grande Terre with a visit to selected Loyalty Islands, bringing terrestrial habitats and tropical seabird colonies into the same journey.
The archipelago holds about 30 endemic species of interest for this journey, while Paul brings extensive field knowledge of New Caledonia. Kagu and White-bellied Goshawk are named priorities, but the final search depends on island access, season and the route agreed with the group.
