About this tour

Follow the Manu Road from high Andean forest to lower foothill habitat on a seven-day birding and photography program. The long elevation gradient creates repeated opportunities for hummingbirds, tanagers, Andean Cock-of-the-rock and many other cloud-forest birds.

The itinerary combines road birding with prolonged feeder sessions at Wayqecha, San Pedro, Pico de Hoz, Inkamazonia and the Chontachaca area. Time at each site is used to work patiently with natural light and changing bird activity rather than simply moving through a checklist.

Five lodge nights, route meals, private transport, entrance fees and guiding are included as stated. The final sequence may be adjusted for weather, access or recent sightings.
