St Kitts 4x4 Sugar Heritage and Birdwatching Tour
A 4x4 exploration of St Kitts sugar history, rainforest mountains and cultural landmarks, with stops for wildlife and hummingbird observation.
About this tour
Combine St Kitts sugar, rum and molasses history with mountain scenery and wildlife on an open-sided 4x4 safari. The route includes Shadwell Great House, the remains of a sugar factory with a windmill and boiling house, and St Mary’s Anglican Church in Cayon.
In the rainforest mountains the operator highlights monkeys, mongoose, hummingbirds, forest trees and vines. A picnic stop at about 1,000 feet offers broad island views. This is a heritage and nature tour with birdwatching opportunities rather than a dedicated target-bird itinerary.
