About this tour

Walk through Wingfield River Valley in the protected Central Forest Reserve National Park, one of St Kitts’ richest areas for biodiversity. The operator highlights birds, monkeys, mongoose, tree ferns and cocoa along the route, with possibilities for up to three types of hummingbird.

The two-hour walking section follows a spring-fed river and climbs about 350 vertical feet to a ridge with views at roughly 1,000 feet. The wider five-hour tour also visits Stone Fort Ravine petroglyphs and includes a Caribbean picnic beside an old sugar mill.

This is an active nature and heritage walk with meaningful birdwatching opportunities, though exact species and sightings vary with conditions.
