Private Rooiels and Betty’s Bay Birding Day Tour
A private Cape day for fynbos endemics, Cape Rockjumper, African Penguins and coastal birds around Rooiels, Stony Point and Harold Porter.
About this tour
Travel from Cape Town to Rooiels for a mountain-base walk through fynbos habitat, with special attention to Cape Rockjumper and other regional endemics. Continue to the African Penguin colony at Stony Point and finish among the forest and fynbos of Harold Porter Botanical Garden.
The day blends mountain, coast and garden habitats and may produce around 50–60 species. The exact pace and any optional wetland stop on the return journey depend on time and current conditions.
