Custom Gambia and Senegal Birdwatching and Photography Tour
A private, fully customized birdwatching and wildlife photography journey through The Gambia and Senegal, led by Gambia-based guide Ansumana Drammeh.
About this tour
Build a private birding and photography journey around your target species, arrival dates and preferred pace with Ansumana Drammeh. Routes can connect the coastal forests and wetlands of The Gambia with river, mangrove and Sahel habitats farther inland and across the border in Senegal.
Possible bases include Bijilo for Abuko, Brufut and Kotu; Tendaba for boat exploration of the inlets; Morgan Kunda for North Bank wetlands and dry savannah; and the Sine-Saloum Delta for mangrove birding. The final route is matched to current bird activity, access, mobility needs and photography priorities.
Field sessions are timed around productive morning and afternoon light. Transport, boats, permits, local scouts, park entry and suitable lodging can be coordinated as part of the confirmed proposal.
