About this tour

Junkung “JJ” Jadama brings more than two decades of guiding individuals and groups across The Gambia and Senegal to this private coastal day. Instead of using a fixed loop, he selects productive habitats for the season, current conditions and the birds guests most want to seek.

Options around the coast include Kotu Stream and Fajara, Abuko Nature Reserve, Brufut Woodland, Tanji Bird Reserve, Pirang, Farasuto, Marakissa and Kartong. The full day runs from 07:30 to 17:00 at £80 per person, including lunch, transport, park entrance fees and guiding. A 07:30-12:00 half day costs £50 per person and includes transport, entrance fees and guiding.

Begin at 07:30 and follow a private route selected for seasonal bird activity and the guest’s priorities. Depending on conditions, JJ may combine wetland, mangrove, rice-field, woodland, gallery-forest or lagoon sites around the coast; the full-day option finishes at 17:00.
