This compact package removes the need to arrange a separate hotel around a guided day. It combines two nights at the Grant Arms Wildlife Hotel in Grantown-on-Spey with a full day in the field led by John Poyner, plus the meals and practical support stated for the package.
The birding day is selected to suit your priorities and the conditions. You can stay close to the Cairngorms for pine forest, loch and moorland species, or travel toward the Moray Firth or Black Isle for estuaries, sea ducks, waders and coastal birding.
Dinner, bed and breakfast, a packed lunch, hot drinks and tour transport are included. The arrival and departure days remain deliberately simple, leaving the middle day for an unhurried route based on seasonal bird activity.
