Small and Flexible Kafue River Birding Stay at Pinnon Safari Lodge
A flexible birding stay beside the Kafue River, with lodge-ground observation and optional guided boat, vehicle and dry-season walking activities.
About this tour
Stay beside the Kafue River in Kafue National Park and shape each day around the birds and habitats that are active during your visit. This intimate, family-operated safari base offers birdwatching around its river frontage, Nangoma stream and lodge grounds. More than 400 bird species are recorded across the wider park.
Unhurried observation from the lodge can be combined with bookable activities. Boat trips offer a different view of riverine birds, while guided game drives explore woodland, open areas and the wider park. Short local walking safaris are available only in the dry season and depend on current conditions. Every sighting involves wild birds and cannot be guaranteed.
The listing is structured as a one-day unit so guests can build a stay of the length that suits them. The lodge currently displays a peak-season full-board starting price of USD 185 per guest each day. That option covers a tented chalet, laundry and meals beginning with arrival-day dinner and ending with departure-day breakfast. Activities, transfers, park fees, drinks and any applicable single supplement are confirmed separately unless a higher package is selected. BirdWatch will check current rates, availability and the most suitable activity plan after inquiry.
