About this tour
The day begins in Tierra del Fuego National Park, where forest and the Beagle Channel coast meet around sites such as Zaratiegui Bay, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay. After the park section, the route follows National Route 3 east through hanging valleys, peat bogs and Andean-Patagonian forest toward Garibaldi Pass.
From the pass, broad views extend over Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano. If the ship schedule and conditions allow, the excursion can continue down toward the Lake Escondido shore for a snack before returning to Ushuaia. The private eight-hour format is coordinated with the cruise departure; park entrance is not assumed unless confirmed. Birds, native plants and landscapes all form part of the naturalist-led experience.
