Day trip - Absheron National Park
Private Azerbaijan birding day trip from Baku, focused on Absheron National Park and nearby target-bird habitats.
About this tour
Absheron National Park The outermost tip of the Absheron Peninsula is a small but rich protected area teeming with birdlife. Lagoons and shallow bays often host large numbers of waterfowl, waders, gulls, and terns . During migration, this exposed point becomes a vital stopover, attracting many birds to feed and rest, while bushes burst with bird activity . In spring, even soaring birds use the area to gain height before crossing the Caspian Sea. With a bit of luck, you might also spot a Caspian Seal lounging on the beach-a rare and special sight! Pallas's and Caspian Gulls
