Bali Starling, Leucopsar rothschildi, is a passerine of the starling family found in Bali, Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan in the Oriental Region. First described by Stresemann in 1912, it is the only member of its genus. It is a stocky bird with a long crest, and its plumage is almost entirely white, with black on the wing and tail tips. The face shows blue bare skin around the eyes, and the bill is brown and yellow. The sexes look alike. It is the island’s only endemic vertebrate species.
