Gabon Batis, Batis minima, is a passerine of the Platysteiridae family that breeds in southern Cameroon and Gabon. It is a bird of humid lowland forest in western Central Africa, and it is also recorded from forested areas in Equatorial Guinea and the far south of the Central African Republic. It is linked to secondary forest with a broken canopy and thick low growth, and it also uses overgrown cacao and coffee plantations. The adult male has a black head with a white mark near the lores and a narrow pale eyebrow, plus a white collar, a white wingbar and a black breast band.
