Yellow-casqued Hornbill, Ceratogymna elata, is a hornbill of the West African rainforest, breeding from Senegal to Cameroon. It is a bird of coastal forest, including places such as Côte d’Ivoire, and it belongs to the Bucerotiformes and the Bucerotidae. One of the larger birds of this forest zone, it is mainly associated with the canopy and seldom comes down to feed on the ground. It is also known as the yellow-casqued wattled hornbill. Its habitat is under pressure from loss of forest.
