Yellow-olive Flatbill, Tolmomyias sulphurescens, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family found from southern Mexico through Middle America and South America to south-eastern Brazil. It occurs across a broad stretch of forested country, including rainforest and montane forest. The species is also known for a wide spread of subspecies, with some authors treating parts of the group as separate species. Its range extends through much of Central America and into many mainland South American countries, making it one of the more widely distributed members of its family.
