Private Three-Day Green Coast and Ubatuba Birding with Ricardo Barbosa
Enter the lowland Atlantic Forest of Brazil's Green Coast and Ubatuba on a private three-day search for endemics and hummingbirds.
About this tour
This three-day trip follows the southern coast from Rio toward the Green Coast and Ubatuba, concentrating on humid lowland Atlantic Forest. The habitat provides a clear contrast to higher mountain birding elsewhere in southeastern Brazil.
Buff-throated Purpletuft, Black-hooded Antwren and Fork-tailed Tody-Tyrant are specifically identified for the search. A varied hummingbird list is another expected feature, although individual species and totals remain dependent on field conditions.
The private format keeps attention on the group's priorities across the three-day scope. Lowland forest endemics remain the central theme, with hummingbird activity adding a different dimension to the coastal programme.
