Join an experienced local guide for a flexible Big Day across bird-rich habitats near Saskatoon. The route is chosen for the date and conditions, with the aim of finding as many species as practical while maintaining responsible observation.
Choose a six-hour Big Morning or extend the search to eight, twelve or sixteen hours. Longer days may combine wetlands, prairie, woodland and evening stops, with late-May and June evenings offering the best reason to listen for rails and other nocturnal marsh birds.
Private tours run from May through early September for parties of up to five. Participants use their own or rented vehicle, and the fee covers guiding only; the final species total depends on weather, migration and seasonal activity.
