Fifteen-Day Gambia Birding and Photography Tour
A comprehensive fifteen-day birding or bird-photography journey from coastal Gambia to Tendaba, Kiang West, Morgan Kunda, Georgetown and Bansang with Lamin K Njie.
About this tour
Travel from the coastal birding sites around Kotu, Kartong, Gunjur, Farasutu and Bonto into the woodland, wetland and savanna landscapes of inland Gambia. The route continues through Tendaba and Kiang West, crosses to the north bank for Morgan Kunda and Katchang, reaches the Georgetown or Bansang area, and then returns through productive south-bank sites.
The itinerary is designed for birdwatchers or photographers who want broad habitat coverage and repeated opportunities for kingfishers, bee-eaters, owls, raptors, bustards, hornbills, cranes, waterbirds and woodland specialists. Airport or hotel pickup is available for groups of two to ten guests. Full-board and half-board arrangements can both be prepared; the exact inclusions and current price are confirmed after inquiry.
