Private Two-Day Guatemala Birding Tour
Plan two consecutive private birding days from Guatemala City with biologist and photographer Rodolfo Walsh, choosing habitats and routes around your interests and target birds.
About this tour
Explore Guatemala’s volcanic highlands, pine-oak woodland, cloud forest and selected reserves on a private two-day program led by Rodolfo Walsh. The official format requires at least two consecutive tour days so the route can cover contrasting habitats and offer a stronger, less rushed birding experience.
Rodolfo tailors the field plan to the group’s interests, current access and seasonal activity. One day may emphasize urban or near-city forest and highland endemics, while the other can focus on a cloud-forest or volcanic reserve chosen for the requested targets and practical travel time. Photography guidance is available throughout.
The tour is limited to four participants. Hotel pickup within Guatemala City, park entrance fees and use of up to four pairs of binoculars are included; meals are not. Because the selected combination of sites determines the final cost, the current two-day quotation is confirmed through BirdWatch.info. All birds are wild and no sighting is guaranteed.
