Let's Go Birding South Africa

Let's Go Birding South Africa is a Cape Town-based birding operator led by guide and founder Jacques Giliomee. Its programmes include tailored outings around the Cape Peninsula, Cape Winelands, Overberg, West Coast and Garden Route, as well as longer journeys across South Africa and selected destinations elsewhere in Africa.

Jacques is registered to guide across South Africa's nine provinces and leads trips for birders with different levels of experience. Routes may focus on regional specialities, photography or a guest's target list, with the pace and itinerary adapted to the group and current field conditions. The operator also encourages bird identification, habitat awareness and learning in the field, and maintains a community for birders ranging from beginners to experienced participants. International and multi-day programmes are confirmed according to their current dates and availability.
