Private Oaxaca Pacific Coastal Lowlands Birding
Bird Oaxaca’s Pacific coastal lowlands on a private two-day programme linking rivers, bays, lagoons, tropical forest and open country, with hotel pickup.
About this tour
Oaxaca’s Pacific coastal lowlands bring together river mouths, bays, lagoons, tropical forest and open-country habitat. This private two-day format gives time to sample the wetland edge and adjoining terrestrial habitats rather than treating the coast as a single brief stop.
Regional possibilities include Doubleday’s Hummingbird, Citreoline Trogon, Russet-crowned Motmot, Golden-cheeked Woodpecker and Red-breasted Chat. Aquatic and migrant birds may add variety around mudflats, mangroves and shallow water, but the exact mix changes with water conditions, season and natural movements.
Roque confirmed hotel pickup and an overnight programme. Lodging and the division of sites between the two days are confirmed privately, so no unverified daily sequence is presented. The route is available year-round and can be adjusted for access, recent bird activity and the group’s priorities.
