Day 1
Private reserve and Etjo sandstone country
Arrival, introductory birding and wildlife viewing on a private reserve, with time to settle into the pace of the safari.
Day 3
Hobatere and Damaraland
Explore mopane habitats for north-western Namibia specialties before continuing toward the Kunene region.
Day 5
Cinderella Waxbill country
Target dry-country birds around the mountain habitats and combine birding with regional natural and cultural history.
Day 7
Etosha National Park
Three days of birding and game viewing across Etosha’s pans, woodland and dry forest habitats.
Day 10
Kavango and Okavango habitats
Bird riparian vegetation, lagoons, teak forest and dry bushland along the Okavango system.
Day 12
Kwando and Bwabwata
Explore floodplains, reedbeds, lagoons and woodland in the Kwando area.
Day 14
Nkasa Rupara and Zambezi
Continue through wetland and woodland mosaics with focused searches for riverine and floodplain species.
Day 17
Chobe by boat
Private boat-based birding and photography along bird-rich riverbanks and floodplains.
Day 20
Victoria Falls spray forest
Visit the distinctive spray rainforest habitat before departure on day 21.
