About this tour

Immerse yourself in the unparalleled beauty of the Manu Road, renowned for hosting a spectacular array of Peruvian bird species from around the globe. Covering a mere 90 kilometers from Abra Acjanaco to Pillcopata, this journey descends from 3,600 meters (12,000 feet) to 500 meters (1,640 feet), offering a thrilling altitude gradient that unveils new avian wonders every 200 meters. Our meticulously crafted Manu Road four-day tour promises a birdwatcher's paradise, featuring toucans, macaws, parrots, tanagers, and a myriad of hummingbird species amidst the lush greenery of the Peruvian Rainforest.

Operated by Machu Picchu Cusco Birding and led by local specialists, this program combines focused birdwatching with the route logistics described below. Sightings depend on season, weather and wild bird activity.
