Spend four hours exploring the changing habitats of Ptasi Raj with Ryan, a native English-speaking guide based on Sobieszewo Island. This small-group outing follows a set 7.5 km route through forest, wetland and coast, giving newcomers and keen birdwatchers several different places to look and listen. The group is limited to eight participants.
The two bird hides provide a chance to pause and scan the reserve. Herons and Bearded Reedlings have been seen around the first hide, while cormorants and other waterbirds are among the observations from the second. At the shore, the view opens onto the Baltic, where the birds encountered change through the year. White-tailed Eagles are another possibility. These are examples of local sightings rather than a checklist promised for each walk.
Meet beside the information boards at the car park opposite the bus loop. Most of the route is flat, though there are steps at the hides. Binoculars are provided, and the walk includes a stop at a designated rest area where you can eat a snack or picnic that you bring. The outing finishes at a sheltered area near the reserve exit.
Wear comfortable closed footwear and bring water. In warm weather, insect repellent, sun protection and a hat are useful. There are no toilets inside the reserve; portable facilities may be available near the exit. Dogs are not permitted on this outing.

Forest, two hides and the Baltic shore
Meet at the reserve information boards and follow the fixed route through woodland. Pause at the two bird hides, continue to the coast, and take a snack break at a designated rest spot. Finish near the reserve exit after approximately four hours.
