Odiel combines intertidal channels, salt marsh, working salt pans, Stone Pine stands and an Atlantic seawatching point. Breeding herons, Eurasian Spoonbill, Black-winged Stilt and Kentish Plover are joined by large movements of waders during migration and wildfowl in winter. Doñana adds shallow seasonal marshes, rice fields, agricultural land, pine woodland and coastal dunes, supporting waterbirds, raptors and Mediterranean specialties.
