Little Bustard

This species is known for its distinctive, far-carrying call during the breeding season. Little Bustards are found in open grasslands, steppes, and agricultural areas, where they forage for insects, seeds, and small vertebrates. They are known for their elaborate courtship displays, which involve inflating their necks and producing deep, resonant calls. Despite their large range, Little Bustard populations are declining due to habitat loss and fragmentation, making them vulnerable to extinction.
