Private Custom Half-Day Colorado Birding
Build a private five-hour Front Range birding route around target species, photography, preferred habitats, walking comfort and current conditions.
About this tour
Shape a five-hour Colorado birding morning around the species, habitats and pace that matter most to you. The guide selects a practical combination of riparian corridors, foothill shrubland, ponderosa forest, prairie edges or wetlands after considering the season and recent activity.
The route can emphasize target birds such as Peregrine Falcon, Mountain Bluebird, American Dipper, Canyon Wren or Broad-tailed Hummingbird when conditions and timing make them realistic. Guests interested in photography can use fewer, longer stops, while beginners can focus on field marks, listening skills and habitat clues.
Walking intensity is adjustable. The group can remain near the vehicle with short observation walks or cover more ground on trails. The private tour runs from 07:00 to 12:00 for one to four guests and includes transportation within the normal pickup area, professional guiding, snacks, water, binoculars, a spotting scope, reservations and required fees.
