About this tour
In Vietnam’s Central Highlands, Yok Don National Park conserves a wide landscape of dry dipterocarp woodland. The park has records of more than 300 bird species, including birds restricted to Vietnam or the wider Indochinese region.
A park guide selects productive forest areas for the chosen session. Woodpeckers, drongos and kingfishers form part of the wider search. Green Peafowl and Yellow-footed Green Pigeon are highlighted possibilities, as are Rufous Treepie and Oriental Pied Hornbill. Species and numbers depend on season, weather and current movement.
Choose an early session from 05:00 to 08:00, an afternoon session from 15:00 to 18:00, or a combined programme with a break between both field periods. Parties are limited to ten visitors, and final meeting instructions are supplied after inquiry.
The listed starting amount is VND 500,000, with the exact package and additional-person basis shown in the current pricing options. Guided birdwatching is included. Park entrance tickets and meals are excluded.
Itinerary
Day 1
Choose the productive edge of the day
Meet at the confirmed park location for the selected guided session. The early field period begins at 05:00 and finishes at 08:00. Afternoon participants start at 15:00 and return at 18:00; the combined format includes both periods with a break between them.
The guide chooses current forest areas for woodpeckers, drongos, kingfishers and other activity. Green Peafowl and Rufous Treepie are important possibilities, together with Oriental Pied Hornbill and Yellow-footed Green Pigeon, but every observation remains uncertain.
