7-Day Belize Birding and Maya Sites Tour
A private week combining birding in Cayo habitats with Caracol, El Pilar, Mountain Pine Ridge and Blue Hole National Park.
About this tour
This private program uses the San Ignacio area as a base for birding across lagoon, pine forest and subtropical forest habitats while also visiting important Maya sites. The week includes guided days at Laguna Aguacate, Caracol, El Pilar, Mountain Pine Ridge and St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park.
The balance of archaeology and natural history makes the route suitable for travelers who want serious birding without giving up Belize’s cultural landmarks. Field days are adjusted to access, weather and current bird activity.
