Miombo Scrub Robin, Tychaedon barbata, is a bird of the Muscicapidae family found in miombo woodland across Angola and southern Democratic Republic of the Congo to western Tanzania, Malawi and southern Zambia. Its range also includes Burundi and Mozambique. It is associated with subtropical or tropical dry forests. The species was once placed in the genus Cercotrichas. It was described by Hartlaub and Finsch in 1870.
