Siberian Grouse, Falcipennis falcipennis, is a forest grouse of eastern Siberia and Sakhalin I. in the Palearctic, belonging to the Phasianidae. It lives in moist, shaded conifer woods with a thick ground layer, and also uses mixed forest with open clearings. The bird is the only member of Falcipennis. It is a resident species. Its range includes the Russian Far East, and it has also been recorded from the far north-east of China, where it is probably no longer present.
