Meet the guide at the airport or agreed hotel, transfer to the first lodge and review the route, target birds and field rhythm.
Bird lowland rainforest and wetland habitats for macaws, toucans, trogons, herons, kingfishers and jacanas, with optional night birding where conditions allow.
Continue through dry forest and coastal habitats for endemic and regional species, shorebirds and seabirds where the route allows.
Search cloud forest and highland habitats for Resplendent Quetzal, hummingbirds and other montane species, with time for photography.
Spend a final full birding day at El Copal Biological Reserve before the return transfer and farewell evening.
Transfer back to San Jose hotel or airport according to the confirmed travel plan.
