Our shortened program offers a condensed yet captivating journey, allowing you to explore some of the most renowned hotspots within both the Cloud Forest and Lower Lands of Manu Road, including the enchanting Inkamazonia Hummingbirds Garden. Immerse yourself in the lush Cloud Forest as we seek out iconic Peruvian birds such as Mountain Tanagers, Toucans, Quetzals, Macaws, parrots and the famed Cock of the Rock. Then, venture into the vibrant Rainforest region, where you'll be enchanted by the sight of dazzling Manu hummingbirds like the White-necked Jacobin, Gould's Jewelfront, and Rufous-crested Coquette, amidst other fascinating avian species awaiting discovery at Inkamazonia Hummingbirds Garden.

Our Manu birdwatching tour kicks off bright and early at 4:00 a.m. as we head towards the renowned Manu Road, a prime destination for birdwatchers. Our first stop takes us to the picturesque town of Paucartambo, where travelers can stock up on essential supplies such as water, fruits, and other necessities for the day. By 7:00 a.m., we reach the Acjanaco checkpoint, marking our official entry into Manu National Park, one of Peru's most biodiverse regions and one of the best places for birdwatching in Peru. Throughout the day, we embark on an extensive Manu birdwatching excursion, exploring a wide range of altitudes. Starting at an elevation of 3800 meters, we traverse the park's highlands before gradually descending to 500 meters in the town of Pillcopata, where the landscape transitions into lush tropical rainforest. Led by our expert guides, we navigate through diverse habitats, learning about the unique bird species endemic to each ecosystem.
Beginning at 6:00 a.m., our exploration continues as we venture into the Guadua Bamboo Patches, seeking out Manu birds that thrive within this distinctive ecosystem along the Manu Road. Here, amidst the towering bamboo stalks, we'll have the opportunity to encounter a variety of avian species uniquely adapted to this habitat. As the morning progresses, we'll make our way to the Inkamazonia Hummingbirds Garden, where we'll be treated to the mesmerizing displays of these remarkable birds while indulging in a delicious local breakfast. At appropriate time we will embark on our journey back to the city of Cusco. Following a brief stop for lunch, we'll continue our return journey, arriving back in Cusco around 6:00 p.m.
