About this tour
This private full-day outing offers a choice between two of eastern Poland’s most distinctive birding landscapes. In Bialowieza, the focus is the structure and birdlife of mature lowland forest, where old trees, wet woodland and forest clearings support a notable range of woodpeckers, owls, flycatchers and other woodland specialists. In Biebrza, open marsh, sedge beds, wet meadows and river channels create a contrasting day centered on wetland birds, raptors, waders and warblers.
The route is selected for the season, current field conditions and the guest’s priorities. Birders can share a wish list in advance, while the guide uses local knowledge to choose productive observation points and walking routes. May and June are especially important in the seasonal birding programme, but exact 2027 availability is available on request.
The format is private and can include up to ten hours in the field. Transport and accommodation can be discussed in advance and can be discussed through the BirdWatch inquiry form.
