Private Valencia and Alicante Wetlands Birding Day Trip

About this tour

Eastern Spain’s Mediterranean wetlands support a striking mix of resident waterbirds, breeding species and seasonal migrants. This private day can begin from Valencia or Alicante, with the route selected around current water levels, access and the birds that matter most to the visiting party.

Potential stops include lagoons, rice fields, reedbeds, saltmarsh, coastal margins and nearby scrub. That habitat range creates opportunities for specialist ducks and coots alongside herons, grebes, waders, gulls, terns, warblers and passing raptors.

The day is planned as a flexible guided outing rather than a fixed checklist. Pickup, timing, exact reserves and the current price are agreed for the requested date, and all target species remain dependent on season and field conditions.
