About this tour

Travel from Lviv for a focused half-day exploration of the Yaniv and Lelekhivka chain of ponds and the adjoining forest within the Roztochia Nature Reserve. This is a mixed pond-and-forest route rather than a visit limited to wetland habitat.

The guide uses binoculars and a telescope to scan for waterbirds, raptors and woodland species. Seasonal possibilities include gulls, terns, ducks, grebes, herons and egrets, alongside White-tailed Eagle, Osprey, Marsh Harrier, Water Rail, bitterns, Black Stork and woodland woodpeckers.
