About this tour
Explore three Hawaiian islands on a small-group birding journey designed and led by locally based guide Mandy Talpas. The route begins on Oahu, continues through Kauai’s north shore and native forest, and finishes on Hawaii Island with high-elevation forest birding and a Kona pelagic.
The programme combines endemic honeycreepers and elepaios with native waterbirds, visiting shorebirds, seabirds and introduced island specialities. Kilauea Point, Hanalei, Kokee, Hakalau and the waters off Kona provide markedly different habitats within one compact itinerary.
Oceanfront and birding-focused accommodation, ground logistics and the programme’s meals and island travel are arranged as an all-inclusive experience. Named birds remain targets rather than guarantees.
