Booted Eagle

The Booted Eagle is a medium-sized bird of prey found in Europe, Asia, and Africa. It is known for its distinctive plumage, with dark brown upperparts and a pale underbody. This raptor is often seen soaring high in the sky, using its keen eyesight to spot prey such as small mammals and birds. The Booted Eagle is a migratory species, with populations traveling long distances between breeding and wintering grounds. It prefers open woodland and forested areas for nesting, where it builds large stick nests in tall trees. Despite facing threats such as habitat loss and persecution, the Booted Eagle maintains stable populations and is considered a species of Least Concern by the IUCN.
