Toco Toucan

Toco Toucan, Ramphastos toco, is a bird of the toucan family in South America, breeding in the north-east, centre and south-east of the continent. It is the largest toucan and is best known for its very large bill, yellow-orange with a black base and a dark mark at the tip. The plumage is black, with white on the throat, chest and upper tail-coverts, and red on the under tail-coverts. It lives in semi-open habitats, including the Brazilian cerrado, gallery forest and the Pantanal wetlands, and also occurs in the Guianas, northern Argentina and Uruguay.
