Private Best of Prague Full-Day Birding Tour
Sample Prague’s wetlands, river corridors and mature deciduous woodland on a private 8-hour birding day, with a conditional 12-hour owl extension.
About this tour
Prague supports a surprisingly broad range of bird habitat within and around the city. This private day combines wetlands and river systems with mature deciduous forest, selecting the most productive sites for the season rather than following a rigid urban circuit.
Wetland searches may produce Little Bittern or Common Pochard. Woodland sections shift attention to Black, Middle Spotted and Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers, together with Wood Warbler and Collared Flycatcher. These are target possibilities, not guaranteed observations, and the balance between habitats responds to water levels, weather and recent records.
The standard programme lasts eight hours and is offered year-round on request for up to four participants. When timing and seasonal conditions are suitable, a twelve-hour version can continue into the evening for owl searching. Final site order and the feasibility of the extension are confirmed for each inquiry.
