Classic Helsinki Birdwatching Tour
A private 3-hour walking birdwatching outing at one accessible Helsinki nature reserve, suitable year-round for beginners, families and visiting birders.
About this tour
Explore the wild side of Helsinki with Samuel Bloch on a relaxed private birdwatching walk. The Classic Tour focuses on one accessible local reserve, using easy paths, boardwalks and birdwatching towers where appropriate.
The route is adjusted to season and bird activity. Samuel brings a birding scope, helps guests find and identify birds, and adapts the pace for beginners, families or experienced visiting birders who want a calm introduction to southern Finnish birds.
Possible highlights vary through the year and may include Smew, White-tailed Eagle, Spotted Redshank, Black Woodpecker, Citrine Wagtail and Common Rosefinch.
