Horned Grebe Helsinki Wetlands Birding Tour
A private 6-hour May-to-July walking birding tour across two Helsinki-area wetland sites, with tram and metro transfer between locations.
About this tour
This six-hour Helsinki-area wetland tour visits two birding locations during the peak spring and early summer period. Samuel meets guests on site, then combines walking birding with a tram and metro transfer between sites.
The route is built for good views of wetland birds, breeding species and seasonal migrants. It suits visitors who want a deeper Helsinki birding session than the short classic route while still using accessible urban transport.
Possible highlights include Horned Grebe, Garganey, White-tailed Eagle, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Citrine Wagtail and Common Rosefinch.
