Specialist bird guide and founder of Bird Finders Uganda
Christopher Kwesiga is a specialist bird guide and the founder of Bird Finders Uganda, with 14 years of birding experience. He has extensive field experience across Uganda's varied ecosystems and identifies birds by both sight and sound, including rare and endemic species. Christopher leads educational birding journeys for birdwatchers, researchers and nature-focused travellers, adapting each trip to the participants' interests, available time and preferred pace.
His guiding combines careful observation with an understanding of bird ecology and the habitats visited along the route. Through Bird Finders Uganda, he also promotes responsible tourism and awareness of the need to protect Uganda's biodiversity. Trips can be tailored around birding, wildlife and primate experiences, with the final itinerary designed for each group.
